Float was the word of the day. Surreal was the style of the day. My get-pushed challenge from April this week was “silhouettes.” (And, oh yeah, check it out on black) This is not at all the picture I had in my for any of those tasks, but I think it will serve quite nicely for all three. Saturday day was in fact, rather surreal, and certainly involved several varieties of floating. After an exciting morning loading furniture onto the pickup, driving 4 hours to get home and unpacking just ahead of pouring rain, my stated purpose of the day was to watch television. I did not fulfill this intention half-way! Joe and I watched five episodes of Outlander, pausing only to feed and water the poultry and to fetch a take-out pizza. It rained and rained and, then rained some more. So we floated away the afternoon and evening on the couch sustained by melted cheese. Being my mother’s daughter, I did spend several hours working on a string box while we watched TV. It was something of a relief to get up on Sunday to a normal day.
A FAV!
