How long oh how long
How long will it be?
You are still sitting,
still drinking your tea.

We try, oh we try
We try to be good.
We try to behave
In the way that we should.

But really, yes really,
There's nothing to do
Oh wait! Just maybe
there's something to chew.

What a find, what a joy!
The pillow's insides!
You look up from your book.
This got a rise!

Perhaps you will shout!
We'll finally go out!
But you turn once again
To your book and your pen.

Have mercy, have mercy
We hate this long wait.
The time 'til we go
Is passing so slow
