Mr Pig here. What a disaster. We finally managed to sort of get a family portrait. Two of the little squealers are actually looking at the camera. The third may not be looking, but at least his whole body is in the picture. I will not bore you with the difficulties we experience corralling our squealers. We get one cleaned up, start on the second and the first has already run out into the mud again. I feel like a shade of my former self. I don't know how Crystal manages day in and day out. She watches them a lot more than I do. You may notice that Crystal's ears are broken. Childbirth was difficult indeed. I am so full of admiration for her, I don't even know where to start. She doesn't even mind missing her ears.
Looking again at the portrait, I have to reconsider. Maybe it wasn't such a disaster. But I am concerned and daunted when I consider the prospect that every family event from now on is going to be exhausting.
My get-pushed partner, Mary Siegle, gave me the following challenge "What I am longing to see from you is what Mr. Pig is up to. "
So good to see you again Mr. Pig! Yes, raising a family is challenging but the day when you say, "Remember when we couldn't get them to sit still for a photo?" will come faster than you think! Great family portrait!
Ha ha you made me laugh. Once upon a time I collected pigs like these. I must have hundreds. All kinds in the form of a butter knife mirror watch etc...you name it I have collected it. Packed away at this stage.
Mr. Pig, I think this is a very typical family portrait. Ask anyone with kids! Nice looking family. Chrystal is lovely just as is. Perfect ears are vastly overrated.
Hang in there, Mr Pig! And Crystal!
