How this tomato plant grew in the foundation of the house is a mystery, but we've enjoyed its health and lush growth. Like most tomato volunteers, however, it has no fruit of any interest to the eater.

I like the rangy look of the branches. I didn't know volunteer tomatoes didn't bear fruit well. Do you think that's because so many of our tomatoes are hybrids?
