Well, all I can say for this photo is that I am experimenting. I don't like the light balance in this. I don't like many things about it, not the least of which is that taking photos in my own house leave me uncomfortably aware of the general disorder. To be continued

You know what. This photo of your house makes me think I'd feel right at home. There's lots of interesting things to see. I think we all judge ourselves too harshly. Getting the light right in a house is hard.

Your house doesn't look nearly as disordered as mine! I agree with @randystreat we are harsher on ourselves than we are on others. I am nopt sure what you mean aobut the light either. I think it mkaes your home look inviting!
