lichens

(I think that's what they are.) My camera, which was sent to camera hospital finally got a diagnosis:of "junk out", which means they they decided it was more expensive to repair than to replace. It also means that they handed me a new camera at the store yesterday. I'm thrilled to be taking pictures without the scratched lens that the beloved little red point and shoot camera had developed. It was a challenge working around that.
starting with a clean slate, aren't you? the capture of all the tiny details are great! very nice!

How exciting to get a replacement! I like these interesting mushroom-like fungi. Great macro.

Sounds like you got a result Françoise... and a later model camera too. Lichens live in a symbiotic relationship (if I remember correctly) so you always find them growing with something else... often moss, as here.
