I'm sure something historic must have happened in this house. For get-pushed challenge to pretend I'm a tourist brochure photographer (but not in the woods...)
Great picture. Isn't this the site of the first ticket ever given out for parking too close to a fire hydrant, thus spawning the original No Parking sign? Also, love that snow pole at the hydrant, it's coming!
If anything it's historic for its construction alone! I used to give tours in an early American village with log houses just like that- except no modern add-ons! Nice shot!
When you take on a challenge you take on a challenge. Are you woods missing you? I am so mean. I am probably one of the step sisters. LOL enjoyed your challenge but am enjoying more your response to mine.
@joansmor the interesting thing about this challenge, Joan, is that the pictures are a one-shot deal. I have just about enough time to pull over on the way to work and take one or two pictures of something that catches my eye. On the way home it's dark already usually... If I were really doing this for hire, I would be out there sweating over each location, studying the light, trying all different angles, waiting for the best weather, etc.
@francoise You are still doing a grand job. We both work and can't give the attention to challenges the way we wish plus you now have your toy group once a week. But of all the challenges I have had lately I have to admit to loving yours the best because it was so inventive. Which is hard to do when you challenge someone else. Think it helps that we follow each other.
