Tiny toy cup by francoise

Tiny toy cup

A response to get pushed challenge from Steve @scarybird to "take a photo indoors. My challenge to you is to take a photo of something that means a lot to you. The subject is entirely up to you but you must be in doors."

I'm not sure I would miss this little cup if it were gone. It's about an inch and a half tall and is possibly the tangible item in the house that I have owned the longest since it dates back to a couple months spent in Santa Fe when I was about 4 years old.
@scarybird Does it matter to the challenge that I used outdoor light that was coming in through the window? Or should I experiment with indoor lighting as well?

It may be tiny, but I like the colors!

Precious piece. Amazing that it is so little and that you have owned it so long.

Your angle of view is very interesting and making it look larger accentuates its meaning to you.

What a lovely, lovely cup. And I really like it against the black.

Nice against the black.

@francoise Well done, as I say your challenge your choice to choose the way you interpret it but I like this and the way you have positioned the cup and lighting. If you want to try different lighting conditions that would be great to see as well

Boy we push partners are mean to you lately. No woods, inside. But this a lovely response as usual.

well I love this little cup - it reminds me of when I made this wonky cup and saucer from clay to give to my Nanna - after she died I think an Aunt threw it out - I was so upset I never saw it again

That is so special Francoise, I don't think I have anything from as young as that. It's quite lovely, you would miss it wouldn't you? Did you mean because it's so little?

Great pov, I never would have guessed it was so small. I love the dark background.

Nice bright colours, especially on black.

Works well with a minimalist approach and you've brought out the rich colors so well.
