Was at a wedding with people I didn't know -- someone who works with Joe. As I sat on a swing in the yard waiting for the festivities to proceed past the last-minute crises, I looked up and saw this little girl playing with a kitten. The sight made me happy. There was a dog too, a little thing with spots who made appearances periodically, including during the outdoor ceremony itself. That made me (and everyone else) happy too.
