@stephanies Here is a first attempt. Hardest thing about this was getting the letters to stand out from the background. I don't find this very inspired, so I will try another tomorrow.
I think this looks great! I like how the colour of the lettering ties together the colours of the poinsettia and the bokeh. The bokeh is really quite lovely too! Which editing program are you using? PSE has a range of effects that make the lettering look a little more 3 dimensional, I don't know about any other editing program though. With a quick search PicMonkey doesn't seem to have this option. Althoug, to be honest, I like it just as it is, fav. :)
@stephanies I use GIMP, so all the effects are done "by hand" with layers and blurring etc. I may learn how to do a more 3-d effect, however. That is an excellent idea (and I seem to have a higher tolerance for playing with editing this time of year; seems like a November/December tradition for me now!)
