Lucy

Inspired by get-pushed challenge from Liz Hammond " to try out a new flash technique I'm going to suggest slow synch flash - rear or front curtain as you think suits your image " This picture is taken towards the setting sun, with flash.
@lizhammond not exactly what you were asking for just yet, but did use the flash to succeed a picture in a setting (Lucy's ever so dark face shot towards a fairly bright background) that I've not managed too often. From reading about flash this week, I believe this is called fill-flash.

Nice, clear shot and details

Excellent job on this shot. It really makes for excellent back lighting without becoming a silhouette!

Excellent. You are in territory I avoid, and I'm learning through your comments and photos. Lovely Lucy, or long suffering Lucy, this portrait is a keeper.

Not knowing anything about your lighting goals I would say You have captured a wonderful phot of her with this one. Whatever you did worked well

Hi Francoise, you have worked so hard at this challenge I am very impressed. You've got a great shot of Lucy there, I love the catch-light in her eye and I think you have nailed the exposure.
