The actual prompt from word of day was water drops/dew. Ironically enough, this picture is from yesterday, with still, unmoving water and sunshine, precisely because there were too many drops dripping from the sky for me to feel like carrying my camera around outside. I did get out and am now damp, but will stay that way as it's time for Ruritan, an organization I joined a few months ago. It's sort of like belonging to a church except that it only meets monthly not weekly and they don't expect you to subscribe to any specific doctrine other than enjoying food, company and service in that order. How can you go wrong with an organization that STARTS its meetings with food rather than only getting around to food after preaching and praying. On the downside, there is quite a bit less singing (none). I always thought that singing was the very best part of church, even though you seemingly had to pay for the pleasure because singing was invariably followed by prayer during which you were supposed to keep your eyes closed and be still. That doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me now, but as a kid my mind wandered terribly. Anyway, the Ruritan has no singing, but perhaps we could introduce some! I think that my presence has lowered the average age by about 30 years. Well, must be off.
