In the woods

You never know what you'll find. After two days of not venturing into the woods, Lucy and I did so this morning.

Dimpled

Little boy smiles charm the world
Puppies that soften our hearts
Little girl smiles charm the world
Kitties that soften our souls
Grown up now, the smiles don't work
At all the same way
They don't end with dinner, a bath,
pajamas and and a good-night kiss
for a dimpled prince or princess
