I think I like the zoomed in shot better -- probably because the sun was illuminating the foreground -- but the clouds attracted me in this one.

Do you process in Lightroom. Because you may have been able to bring out the clouds and the foreground. I am into clouds right now. These are interesting because of the light hole.
