a different patch of the turkey tails; these were not nearly as fuzzy.
Lovely capture. I wonder if there is any reason for the white on these.

This is so good - you were able to compose a diagonal and make it an artistic shot- not easy when dealing with fungi. Here in Australia we have a very similar one - a bracket fungus we call "Rainbow Fungus" and it has the same coloured zonal patterns with light on the outside. It is Trametes versicolour. it may well be related to this one of yours. fav
