Paula @paulaw wondered about something that makes me smile. Well, I've been looking around and that encompasses so many things. I chose a shot from the kitchen window when it first started snowing on Tuesday because I looked out very early in the morning and saw the ground covered with little birds against the blue snow. I smiled because my husband put the bird feeder right outside the kitchen window. Last year, I asked him to move a wooden trellis to that location. Within hours, the very next time I looked out the window, in fact, there was the trellis. With a birdfeeder. It got moved during the summer, but at Christmas this year, Joey, the oldest, gave me another birdfeeder. I mentioned to Joe (husband), that I'd like to hang it right outside the kitchen window. Within hours, there were two birdfeeders hanging. So there is a list of at least four reasons I smile when I look out the kitchen window. When I got my camera later in the day on tuesday, some giant crows had appeared. This picture made me smile because it's a very cool missed shot.
