For the sandbox365 multiplicity project. This is a really fun technique! wow. I did observe the challenge with shadows and overlap. Also, I was startled at the difference in size visible when the locations were only a couple feet away from each other.

oh, i envy you for having done this. great job you did, the sizes are relative to the distance to the main character, the one reading.

@olivetreeann They are correct as the photos were all taken from the same camera set up at exactly the same place with same exact settings. I was just surprised at the difference. In theory I know that perspective makes things farther away smaller, I would not have included this size difference if I were trying to sketch the scene from memory! Fascinating.
