Tried with the high key b&w, using the light coming from a window... My daughter accepted to pose for me, but just cause she wanted to have a break from her homerworks! ;)
Francesca, we are partners this week. I’ve looked back through your album and see that it’s a long time since you posted pictures of your cat Kiki—or any animal. So that’s the challenge I give you—to photograoh an animal. If Kiki is still with you, it can be him. If not, then a neighbor’s pet, or any other kind of animal, bird, or fish from the street, or park, or zoo, or wherever you find it. How does that sound? I look forward to seeing what challenge you have for me.

It sounds great! Unfortunately we have lost our sweet Kiki last October... But a new cat, Haku, has become a member of our family... I'll let you know my proposal for you soon...
We are Get Pushed partners for this week. I'm suggesting you present a photo which focuses on texture. Texture can be shown through variances in shape, tone and color depth. Examples could be bark on a tree, stones, fabric, plants, water patterns. There are many examples on the internet. The idea is to focus on detail.

Ginevra accepted to pose for me only to have a break from homework! She was unexpectedly at ease behind the lens... It has been a special moment, with plenty of laughs!
