Old mine building disappearing into the fog - and eventually into the mountain side. This was a bit too spooky even for me. Tonnes of slate balanced precariously on the hill sides, although I suppose it's been there for decades.

@anndee@jgpittenger Thanks so much for the favs. The processing was done in befunky if you're interested. You can use the basic version for free. Although this was a pretty bleak scene to start with!
Okay... now I'm worried about you. Just where do you live that you have so many roof-less buildings nearby? (Just kidding... I really love all the ruins)
Fabulous shot - great processing too. I'm sorry my patch of the world didn't perform for you weather-wise. The journey back southwards today was pretty grim. Hope you weren't camping!
@fueast Ooooh, have you?! I'd loooove one of those! But really, you should have seen Snowdonia last Easter - it was a scorcher. We cycled up from Cardiff on NCR8 (national cycle route) - 250miles - had a tan and got sunstroke in Builth Wells!
@sparkle Yep it's remote. Up the mine track you're not supposed to go up. Foggy, windy, weird creaking noises and several tonnes of slate just hanging. Creepy!
Wow, awesome! Up in the mountains at Glacier national Park is the remains of an old building at one of the passes. This reminded me of the day I hiked to it.
The angle of the slate stones coming at us in the bottom left corner...just brilliant framing! And the gray fog and gray stones....the history too! Just great. Fav for me. Congrats on the PP!
Yeah, those slate piles are well unnerving...
