Blue Buttermere

We had a go at long exposure shots on the way back from the pub. Really it needed a proper tripod to get the right angle. Still it was fun having a go.

@sparkle Yep - also found out some interesting stuff. My mum and dads first ever weekend away was to the house at Galegarth. My mum was only 18. ooo. Also - my sister is in the climbing club that has the hut just below the site. Wonder if guests are allowed...

Seriously cool silhouette! Very graphic - love the play between organic curving mountain line vs the hard, straight ones of the fencing. Nice job.

I love all the different blues in this, a great long exposure shot. Not that I'm not loving the longer days, but I am sort of missing the opprtunities for long exposures right now.

Excellent shot @fueast. Fav. I hope your camper van trip to the Lakes was better than ours. We had recovery out twice and eventually replaced the battery
