As the tones suggest, sunny but cold. Lovely. Have made an interesting discovery about lockdown weekend walking for the time being – that golf courses are where it’s at. No one is allowed to play golf at the moment and they are proving wide open green spaces for walking your dog without the hoards of people on the park footpaths. Perfect. So, Headingley course today and Sandmoor tomorrow. Plenty of room for Bessie to gallop. Who knew Leeds had so many golf courses?? Hopefully when the golfers are allowed back the rest of us will be allowed to get out to the hills.
Really nice, love it. I have the same sentiment as Jane. Tiny silver lining you get to explore golf courses without having to whack a little white ball.
@jgpittenger@yoland restrictions on travel are a bit hard but luckily Leeds has a lot of green space so it could be a lot worse. Hard to believe that a large part of it is only usually enjoyed by a few people whacking a little white ball...
@fueast thanks Alison, these are definitely strange times. We don’t have nearly the restrictions. I have many relatives in the UK that are feeling the pressures of the lockdown. Restrictions here are stay local, for me it’s this beautiful Island that I’m so appreciative for, we aren’t allowed to socialize, just walks with 2 people.
