This was taken this Tuesday at our local farm shop through the car window. Whilst waiting for our son and granddaughter to arrive we spotted a flitting goldcrest in the trees. The picture is poor as I tried to zoom in and it kept moving. We actually had good views, although the picture would make you think otherwise! The goldcrest is one of the smallest UK birds. It is a wonder they survive cold winters.
