Flint in Church Tower

Merton Church, just south of Watton, Norfolk, UK has a very old round tower of flint. The lower part is older than the Norman Conquest. This is a close-up of the flint.
Good close-up. Interesting. I live in Watton.

@g3xbm I'm closer to Watton church which is another example of Norman round towered churches.
