Vegan lunch

Our son is a carnivore, but he went vegan for January and is still vegan, much to our surprise. At the weekend he cooked us a vegan lunch (in the photo). Black rice, capers, pesto and charred cauliflower.

Actually, it was very tasty. Very surprised he’s been so strong willed as normally he’s a real carnivore.

Hmmm. Interesting. Although I’m not vegetarian I do eat vegetarian food most of the time but vegan? That really is a step too far.
