This area (specifically Hope Cove) is where my ancestors lived over 500 years ago and probably far earlier too. It is probably the most beautiful coast in England, but I am biased! Most years we go back. At Bolt Tail there is an Iron Age fort. It is humbling to think one of my distant ancestors probably manned it.
