@susiemc - special buses that run on special roads. They use the path of the old Cambridge to St Ives railway. In towns they can use ordinary roads, but out of town the extra wheels on the bottom sides guide the bus along special guides, so the buses can go very fast without having to be steered. The trip to St Ives from Cambridge is very fast and avoids traffic completely. As a bonus they go through Fen Drayton Lakes, which is an RSPB reserve. Altogether a great (free) day out. St Ives, Cambridgeshire is a delightful town on the River Ouse.
