It is hard to see in this photo, but the rooks are repairing nests in this tree. There are 2 horse chestnut trees in our churchyard planted to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. I have no idea when these were planted, but it was a long time ago! Sadly I only had my phone with me. At least I can remember when the birds started!
