When I bought this Hebrew bible many years ago from a specialist bookshop in Oxford I was intrigued that the price and order number was inside the back cover, not the front as customary. The person who wrote this in it clearly knew Hebrew is written from left to right and so they had indeed put it in the front!
What a nice capture. They are very unique on their way of writing. My name, Esther Rosenberg can not be any more Jewish, but I grew up in Holland with Cathelic parents, married my Jewish husband in the USA. Many of our friends have to study the Hebrew to read it.
