The fabulous spider I posted last week is still around but has changed venue, the web now parallel with, and to the right of, our patio doors. We could not understand how we could walk out into the garden and then we saw one sole filament just above head height which stretched somehow to the garage roof (3,5 metres). How did it get up there and back?
Unfortunately, overnight it reinforced this lone filament with another one lower down and I walked through it and the whole web collapsed.
