I photographed this old place back in September but I waked by it again today and it looked so different in the drizzly rain and overcast skies. This old hut was built about an hours drive from where it now sits in 1860 and was relocated to this location 51 years ago. It was a restaurant for 30 years and I'm guessing that's why it has an air conditioning unit on the side. That's the only acknowledgment of modernity. If you sit there on quiet days you can hear the voices of the past swirl around you; the conversations of yesteryear whispered in your ear.
