Our neighbours couldn't understand what the small hoof prints were in his garden. Then small poo pats were observed. Never for one minute thought it might be a cow rummaging in his garden at night until one evening @shepherdman took the dogs out on the front before bedtime to stretch their legs and saw a large calf walking down the road. He caught up with it and led it back towards our house. It then did a detour through a gap in the hedge into the field across the road from our house and ambled off into the dark. We contacted the local farmer. He said the calf had been orphaned and was being kept as a pet in the big house the other side of the field and it wasn't the first time it had escaped! So, at least your lovely pig was a lot smaller and more manageable! Great shot.
