The weather here today has been beautiful, so I went for a walk in the Peak District, Derbyshire.
This part of my walk is Torside Clough, leading to, in the distance Torside Reservoir.
The stony path on the left is what I've walked along its part of the Pennine Way a National Trail in England, with a small section in Scotland. The trail runs 267 miles.
great landscape. I'm looking out at rain at the moment after 3 weeks of great weather, how I'd love to stretch my legs on that hill get a look at the reservoir...
Oh, yes - you've got all the colours of the Peaks, as they are just now, in this! We're back today from a week's stay in Bakewell, so they're fresh in my mind. This sums up the 'feel' of the area beautifully. Fav.
Lee, are the dark brown patches heather? We looked and looked (only from the car, I'm ashamed to say!) but couldn't make our minds up.
What a fabulous view. I am catching up on 365 after having no power for 4 days due to our storm so although I have checked out all the photos I have missed I can't comment on each one.
