The Powder House dates to the mid-18th Century and takes its name from its original use as a store for the gun powder unloaded from ships for use in the local slate mines.. In approximately 1897, the then redundant gunpowder store was converted into a dwelling house.
Lovely capture. I like the ruggedness of the beach and rocks with the bleak sky. I should imagine that lovely dwelling provides some stunning views, both beautiful and fearful, depending on natures ever changing moods. Fav for me 😊
