A few years ago, I treated myself to a photography day out at Flamborough. The trip included going out on a fishing boat to take photos of the gannets diving for fish. Can you imagine, the boats' movement in the sea, using a long lens, looking through the view finder and trying to keep your balance! I took a good few hundred photos that day and deleted about half them, if not more.
Fabulous image. I did the same trip a few years ago and ended up with half a dozen shots that I really liked, the rest need to go in the bin. It was photographically challenging but a fantastic experience!
Well, this one was very successful, despite your challenges. You nailed it and got the eye, the fish and the action just right. I feel sick from reading your description of photography on a fishing boat! I'm not the world's best sailor!
