Great capture even if it is a Grackle! We use to have a Douglas Fir near our house that was loaded with Grackle nests. They were pests. We had a bad winter one year and the snow and ice broke off many of the branches so I had a friend take it down. We weren't bothered by Grackles after that.
@skipt07 They are aggressive tend to come by in groups, and drive the other birds away when they are at the feeder but here they seem to come for a limited time, several times a day, and then leave giving the other birds a chance at the food. I'm still intrigued by trying to capture that iridescent patch of purple/blue/green colour around their necks.
