He started out all black but, with increasing age, he is getting silver highlights around his eyes and nose. We adopted Boo from the Humane Society 15 years ago today. They weren't sure how old he was but probably between one and two years, at the time. He used to be a terror for the rodent and bird population in the area, but now, he is an old guy with stiff back legs who spends a lot of time sleeping in nice warm spots.
Lovely cat, this looks like a twin to Sable, the cat my daughter brought with her when she moved back in with me a couple of years ago. They both must be about the same age I think.
