This is a chinese tree peony. It's a pretty flower but I have to confess the thing that really convinced me to buy this plant years ago was it's name, translated from the Chinese as " Tipsy Imperial Concubine" I mean, seriously, who wouldn't want a tipsy concubine in their garden?
