It's late in the season and some of the early ducklings look almost full grown but yesterday I noticed this one mother duck swimming around with just this one very tiny little duckling. Hope it grows fast and is ready for the long flight in the fall.
@lleo Actually the water was a sort of ugly yellowish brown, a result of the muddy bottom of the shallow pond being churned up by a storm that passed through earlier. I converted the original to B&W but then brought back the warm brown tones of the duck and duckling.
