Back from a couple of weeks down south in Florida and the Caribbean.This is a great blue heron at a wetland preserve in Florida, working on building a nest. I'm not sure if I'll ever catch up with all the days I've missed but I will start posting my vacation pics a few at a time as I manage to work through looking at them all. I see I will have a lot of catching up to do with what I have missed on 365 while I've been gone too.
What an excellent shot! I was going to say, I didn't think you took that photo in your neck of the woods (especially today). We just got 4" of new snow last night and it is looking very winter-ish here. I can't believe winter is here so early this year. I envy you getting away to somewhere warm since it is has certainly proved to be the coldest fall I can remember this year.
