Extreme crop of a larger picture. I think this is a chipmunk. It is much smaller and more skittish than our squirrels, but it doesn't have those characteristic stripes down it's back. If anyone can positively identify it I'd love to know.
@teiko It does look a lot like a squirrel but it's a lot smaller than our other squirrels and it's much more red in colour than any of them. It seemed to me that it's an odd time of year to have such a little one, but then I'm not an expert on when squirrels have babies.
