Goose and Grass

There are a few geese at the park this spring but not near as many as in previous years. I'm not sure if that is due to the pond clean up they did a couple of years ago, which reduced the fish population and hence maybe affected the whole food chain system or if it's due to some attempts to cull geese through nest and egg destruction programs.

I'm rather fond of geese but have never seen such unusual colours.

I think the reason you're seeing fewer than usual Joanne is that they've all come to the UK!! We have loads. This is a great shot btw.
