Blue Chicory Flower

When I was growing up we always used to call these cornflowers but, since being introduced to all the research abilities of the internet, I've since learned they are actually chicory flowers. I guess the confusion arose because they both share that intense blue colour and a similar shape.

Beautiful shot! I wonder if this is the chicory which is put in liquid coffee in bottles called 'Camp' coffee.

@quietpurplehaze Yes, I think it is the root of this plant that is roasted and used as a coffee additive.
