Eye to eye...with a fly...

The tree peonies are falling apart now so I'm back to photographing the bugs that still seem to be buzzing around the falling petals and the pistil.

Great detail and capture on this fly. We have these green flies as well and I photograph them once in a while. They really are quite pretty. I know what you mean about the macro lens opening up you eyes... its quite a macro world out there!
