Our local humane society has a tree in their lobby that is covered with tiny decorations. For $20 you can buy one of the coloured balls, write the name of a pet that you want to remember on it, and add it to the tree. The proceeds go to the running of the shelter. It was heart warming to see just how full of decorations the tree was.
