Flowers and flies, both are in abundance at this time of year. I confess that I find these flies more attractive up close like this than I do when they are just black spots buzzing around my head.
Impressive capture. I hate 'em. Luckily they're not so bad where I live now, but when I lived back in the eastern U.S. they were constantly annoying me - to the point that I made a T-shirt identifying me as Anti-Fly man. I had some belief that if I went on a mass killing spree, which I could do as so many would collect on the back door screen, I could eventually wipe out the species. Apparently I failed.
@stray_shooter I have some weeds in my garden like that...good news I think I have one of them almost on the ropes! In the process I am sure I have convinced the neighbours I am totally crazy as I prowl around my garden exclaiming ..."got you you little @#$!#" PS. My goal is less lofty than yours as I only hope to remove them entirely from my garden, not the world.
