Bluejay Takeoff

I took this about a month ago but didn't post it then, to be honest, I think the focus is a little soft, at least the focus on his face, his tail looks good, LOL.
But today has turned into a sleet and slush fest which made getting out to do any photography a non-starter. So, we have this, rescued from the past, shot or we have an indoor shot from my perfume collection to chose from.

@lyndemc Yes that is a lilac bush and they set their buds quite early. If you don't realize, and prune the bush in late summer, you lose all next years flowers!

Great timing! I find it sooo hard to get an image where the bird in flight's is actually sharp where it should be. I'm just happy to get anything at all sometimes. Nice catch!
