The same acorn tops as I posted a couple of days ago but, this time, using focus stacking to pull more of them, including the insides, into sharper focus.
@quietpurplehaze I tried it first, back around 2013 I think. It can produce pretty awesome results but like you I found it a lot of trouble and also I found it was very hard to do “on site”, Trying to photograph a flower in the garden, for instance, was almost impossible because the slightest wind movement or a change in illumination made the stacking a failure. SO, I pretty much abandoned it for a few years but when I started taking photos of individual seed heads, and such, indoors it seemed a good opportunity to try it again.
