I've had this little, carved, Santa figure for several years. He is more of a vintage Kris Kringle figure than the usual North American Santa who is usually plump and jolly looking. Even for a Kris Kringle though, he seems unusually skinny and non-jolly. Depending on the lighting and angle I see him from, he can look everything from sad, to dismayed, to shocked. In one photo he even looked kind of sketchy, like I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. Over the years, however I've grown quite fond of him. I photographed him here with some background bokeh for the Macro bokeh challenge.
@skipt07 You're right. I didn't even think of it because the term 'Christmas ornament' makes me think of things to hang on a tree.
This year I put up only a mini tree and didn't even get the usual tree ornaments out of storage because they would all be too big to hang on that little thing.

This would have been a great entry to my thread.
