I'm still in the back yard today, but moving on from the dried flora of the last few days, to the still active fauna. For the first time in a while I saw two young squirrels in my yard today. I'm not informed enough to guess at their exact age but they are definitely not adults. This one, as well as his pale tummy, had some lighter fur around his neck.
