A Growing Annoyance by gardencat

A Growing Annoyance

It starts as a small but pretty little yellow flower then, over the next few months the petals fall off and the centre of the flower gets bigger and pokier and it turns into this little ball of tiny spikes with hooks on the end. Give it another month or two and it will be a dry brown ball that you end up peeling off your pant leg after a walk outside.
such a great adaption for survival and genetic diversity - nature is amazing isn't it (even when its annoying lol)

Love the commentary! Yes, those pretty yellow flowers are there to disguise what's ahead so that you'll let the plant grow. Nice macro!

I love the focus/dof, pov and color. I also like the minimalism and your narrative.
